I am a licensed clinical social worker and trained psychotherapist.

I believe that the therapeutic process is most successful when the relationship with your therapist is strong. I approach therapy with compassion, and provide a safe space that is free of judgement and full of optimism.

My practice is eclectic and is informed by my breadth of experience working in mental health and educational settings. I provide care through a warm and collaborative lens pulling on ideas informed by Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Narrative Therapy (NT). I believe that you are the expert of your life and by working together to (re)tell your stories that ultimately power and change will emerge. I strive to honor the needs of my clients and respect all identities and experiences.

I obtained my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont and have over 10 years experience working with teenagers, adults, and families in both mental health and educational settings. I am passionate about human rights advocacy and social justice, and throughout my career have provided mental health support for people who experience depression and anxiety, low self-esteem, identity-related issues, major life transitions, have survived torture and human rights abuses, infertility, grief, stress, along with parenting and motherhood.

I believe that healthcare is a human right, and mental health is an integral component of that. I do not take insurance at this time, however, I offer a sliding scale and am happy to chat about my rates and ways to make therapy affordable for you.
